Well, I may have just stumbled upon my first real problem with BF4. During the Beta I'd noticed that in BF4 you get heaps of XP compared to previous games, so made the assumption that the level requirements would be larger than BF3. Apparently not.
Several players are already claiming the podium finish for getting to Colonel 100: http://battlelog.bat...64767291016846/
At first I thought this was a joke, but I've seen at least 4 players claiming that, through Operation Locker 24/7 and XP boosts, they've managed to hit the level cap. This of course made me want to know each level's XP requirement so I found them here: http://battlelog.bat...64767291016846/
Keep in mind it says the info may not be 100% accurate, but assuming it is close to reality, we are faced with a very short game. The most it seems to get up to is 150,000 XP per level. When you consider that there is only 100 levels in BF4, and not BF3's 145, and also take into account the constant XP boosts we seem to get from Battlepacks, this is worrying. I play BF partially because for me it has much more longevity than other games, and this is just really short.
The guy's Battlelog is here: http://battlelog.bat...s/374255541/pc/
Of course, all of these guys might be sneakily cheating, but I'd imagine they'd be banned already - with popular threads on the Battlelog forums and wearing their C100 tags and everything.
Overall, IMO this is worrying for BF. For most games small level cap = small gameplay life for me.
