Grenades fired will travel completely straight and never arc.
Friendly vehicles cannot be destroyed by the Mk 19, however the player can receive the friendly fire penalty.
When the helicopter lands to drop off Marines, if the player fires the Mk 19 into the ground, the grenades will not explode.

in the alien room, there is an autopsy table that was thrown into a wall, and has large amounts of blood throughout the room, suggesting an alien escape.
There are numerous panels throughout the map that can be destroyed. If the action button is pressed, sounds will play. After being destroyed, these panels will re-spawn.
All the black vans' license plates say "exempt", and all the white vans' license plates say "U.S.Gov".
A similar looking hangar appears in Moon as the starting location.

In the intro to Call of Duty: World at War's Nacht der Untoten, it can be seen in the background. This same crash site is visible from upstairs on the level, near the Sniper Cabinet. This can also be seen in the Call of Duty: Black Ops version of Nacht der Untoten.
16An M16 equipped with a Flamethrower or Grenade Launcher attachment has a different handguard from the stock M16 handguard, being replaced with a heat shield. The Flamethrower's heat-shield is red, which cannot change with camouflage, whereas the grenade launcher's heat-shield will change.
The Create-A-Class picture shows a windage/elevation adjuster, but the in-game model doesn't have one.
The M16 is the only weapon whose centerspeed is increased with the addition of an ACOG or IR Scope, which decreases recoil.

In the Berlin Wall trailer, it shows two soldiers wielding Commandos with both Extended Mags and Flamethrowers, which is not possible in game.
The rifle's lower receiver reads "CAL 223 MODEL 01 SERIAL 0040209", "PONY", and "MINOTAURUS ARMS." The iron sights read "MP FOLDING SIGHT PN04022009JW-P JACKSON FIREARMS.
When camouflage is applied to the Commando, it appears noticeably more worn than when applied to any other assault rifle, with scratches and paint chipping present. This is most noticeable with Red.

If the ACOG or Thermal scope is attached to the MK14, it gains little to no idle/weapon sway unlike other Assault Rifles and weapons.
In the Modern Warfare 3 World Premiere Multiplayer Trailer, the M4A1 with an ACOG Scope sounded like the MK14 fired really fast.
Grinch's MK14 is notable, as he will sometimes fire the weapon much faster than MK14's equipped with Rapid Fire can. This is easily seen if he gets in a close quarters fight with targets or is ambushed.
13A Baker's Dozen is a DLC achievement/trophy in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It requires the player to run over and kill 13 enemies with the snowmobile in the Special Ops mission Black Ice.
Easy way to get it is to go back and fourth through the track running over people if you missed them.

The weapon's inventory icon displays the stock folded up, but when viewed from first or third person, there is no stock attached.
The SPAS-12 ejects pink shells. This happens also with the AA-12.
